The processing of personal data on this website is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where visitors from the European Economic Area are concerned, we additionally comply with the General Data Protection Regulation.

Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by Heimathosting GmbH (heimathosting.de) on servers in Germany. Germany belongs to the European Economic Area and offers adequate data protection within the meaning of the FADP, so disclosure abroad is permitted. Heimathosting processes the data solely on our instructions.

Calling up a page creates technically necessary entries in the server log: shortened IP address, date and time, the address requested, the volume of data transferred, browser type and operating system, and the referring page. We need these for secure, stable operation and to fend off attacks. They are not combined with other data and are deleted after 30 days. The basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 31 para. 1 FADP, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

Enquiries through the form

When you send the enquiry form, your details go to our webspace at Heimathosting GmbH in Germany. They are not stored there but sent straight on as two emails: the enquiry to us and a confirmation to you. After that the data only sits in our mailbox.

We use your name, email address, the chosen topic and your description solely to answer the enquiry and to prepare possible work together (Art. 31 para. 2 lit. a FADP, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). The page you wrote from is sent along as well, so that we know the context.

To keep machines out, the form contains a hidden field and a timestamp. Neither is evaluated or stored; they only decide whether a submission is let through.

Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted after twelve months at the latest. Where we do work together, we keep the documents for as long as the statutory retention period of ten years requires (Art. 958f Swiss Code of Obligations).

Email correspondence

If you write to us directly, we receive your sender address, the content and the time. Our mailbox runs with the same provider as the hosting. Please bear in mind that unencrypted email can be read in transit; for anything confidential we are glad to arrange a secure route.

No cookies, no analytics, no third party services

This website sets no cookies and uses neither Google Analytics nor any other measurement tool. Fonts, images and scripts sit on our own server; no Google Fonts, no video portals and no social plugins are loaded. Simply visiting this site therefore creates no connection to third parties.

Where we link out, for instance to our clients' shops, the privacy policy of that provider applies.

Your rights

You may ask whether and what data we process about you, and request its correction, deletion or release. You may also object to processing. A message to hello@webrisestudio.ch is enough; we answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may turn to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, and if you are in the EEA, to your competent supervisory authority.

Security

The connection to this website is encrypted with TLS, shown by the padlock in the address bar. Access to our systems is protected with strong passwords and, wherever possible, a second factor.
